Holiday socks

A theme in knit blogs seem to be holiday socks, a pair that are made once all the gift knitting is complete, and something can be cast on without worrying when it’s finished. Without meaning to I added to this trend myself, though these were a gift there was no rush, I simply wanted to give sock knitting another try and make them for my friend. I’ve wanted to make them for her for years, but I obviously had to get good enough at knitting for them to be a success. The key for my first sock-cess! Seemed to be good quality sock yarn with a lot of bounce, and going up a needle size. I’m chuffed to bits. X
